Don’t forget to sharpen your knives
Cooking has become quite a job. My hand got pretty tired from cutting all the lettuce (among other things). So I decided to sharpen my favorite knife:

I got used to apply a certain pressure on that lettuce. But with the “new” knife, I went right through it and hit the board. I then realized that all that effort that I used to deploy was only to compensate for the poorly sharpened knife (which I never sharpened since I purchased it 1 1/2 years ago).
So now I can slice my tomatoes just like Chef Tony, and without buying the 12-knife set for 39.95$ +shipping and handling!
